His career has centered on managed development and delivery of advanced Internet and telecommunications services as a wholesale turnkey offering to RLEC, IOC, Wireless, and MSO markets. Mr. Cuthrell specializes in network technologies and infrastructure concerns. He is also experienced in software development, P&L, vendor management, systems architecture, technical diligence, PKI, security, VoIP, IPTV, SLA, INFOSEC, middleware, disruptive technologies, and open source. However, interest is quickly tempered in the wake of T-Mobile Sidekick data loss from the cloud -- a Microsoft cloud. The implication is a reminder of the importance of getting things right in a silo or a cloud. The rapidly growing space of enabling cloud technology companies and self proclaimed cloud based service providers will feel this. Put another way? Oh the pain.

Current thinking in the wireless world of "bigger is better" would dictate that Verizon will eventually buy TracFone's MVNO business as Sprint did with Virgin Mobile MVNO. However, it is in the interest of Verizon to maintain an MVNO ecosystem even in the face of what outwardly appears to be a challenge to previously held assumptions on wireless carrier ARPU for several reasons.
