Mazhar Hussain is an independent technology consultant. He has over 18 years of experience in telecom infrastructure, wireless, handsets, semiconductor, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, broadband DSL, Cable, WLAN and 3G, and networking. Previously, he was Senior Director- worldwide data, voice, and video at Motorola; director- marketing at Texas Instruments, and was responsible for marketing of DSP, wireless cell phone, base stations, broadband, ASIC, and WLAN semiconductor chipsets; and a director- marketing at Terayon Communications, and was responsible for managing broadband modems, routers and gateways for triple play, and accounts for AOL-Time Warner, AT&T, Comcast, Cox, Charter, Cable Vision, Verizon, Sprint, HP, Dell, IBM, Nextel, Nortel, and Nokia. He is experienced in outsourced IC manufacturing and negotiation with OEM and ODM businesses at Taiwan, Korea and China. (This is me - Update Profile)
