Mr. Michael Stein

Council Member Biography

Michael Stein serves on the Boards of Directors at AIMCO, a real estate investment trust, Nautilus, a fitness equipment company, and Providence Health & Services. Mr. Stein has over 35 years of diverse experience in finance, accounting and management. He was Chief Financial Officer at ICOS Corporation, a biotechnology company. Prior to ICOS, Mr. Stein served as Chief Financial Officer of Nordstrom, the fashion specialty retailer and Chief Financial Officer of Marriott International, the global lodging and hospitality company. Prior to Marriott, he was a Partner with Arthur Andersen, Washington, DC. Mr. Stein is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Stein has held several other responsible positions including serving on the boards of directors at Getty Images and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
