Stéphane Téral is a Principal Analyst, Service Provider VoIP, IMS and Mobile Infrastructure at Infonetics Research. He joined Infonetics Research in January 2006, after eight years with analyst firm RHK, where he developed their European optical coverage and helped carriers migrate from PSTN to next generation networks. Prior to RHK, he was an engineer and project manager at Alcatel, where he deployed the CATV optical networks for televising the 1992 Olympic Games and the opening of EuroDisney. He specializes in service provider VoIP, circuit-to-packet migration, IMS, fixed-mobile convergence, mobile core, and service provider capital expenditure and revenue. He has spoken at events such as Broadband World Forum, FiberComm, Telecom Video Europe, and TVoDSL, and is frequently quoted in publications, including Business Week, The Economist, Financial Times, Fortune, Le Monde, San Francisco Chronicle, and San Jose Mercury News.
